Take Charge of Your Health by #STRetching!
Hey #teamsono! We are still going strong in #STR Summer and wanted to bring an easy and affordable way to stay fit. Which is Stretching!
According to Strength Training Rehab, “Many modern trainers consider stretching to be essential. In fact, some experts believe stretching is beneficial no matter the intensity of the workout.” Let’s dive into the reason behind this claim.
Why is Stretching so Beneficial?
Stretching is said to have many benefits including: “Increased range of motion, Improved circulation, and Improved posture.” Not only that, but stretching also reduces injuries. Strength Training Rehab reveals that “More studies have concluded that stretching mainly reduces injuries by increasing flexibility.” This can really come in handy, especially for sonographers!
Hey Sonographers, Stretch!
It is said that the reason that up to 90% of sonographers have some sort of Ergonomic Injury is due to awkward flexion or extension of the neck, wrist, shoulder and other joints. With stretching, your body is relieved of the tension and has more mobility in order to perform the needed tasks of a sonographer.
